Bisnow reported on Katten's second annual regatta to raise money on behalf of Food From the Bar, the Washington, DC legal community's annual fundraising campaign in partnership with the Capital Area Food Bank. Katten attorneys and staff from the Washington, DC office raced canoes and kayaks down the Potomac River on Friday, June 24. The winning boat of the 16-team race was rowed by Washington, DC office managing partner Timothy Lynes and Corporate special counsel Robyn Mandel. During the month-long campaign, more than 200 pounds of food and more than $12,000—the equivalent of 30,000 meals—was raised for Food From the Bar. Katten volunteers also pitched in and packed 12,400 pounds of food for Capital Area Food Bank. ("Katten Chairman Rows in Potomac Regatta Fundraiser," June 29, 2016)
