Lari Dierks concentrates her practice on complex litigation matters with a particular focus on white-collar defense, financial markets litigation and regulatory defense. Lari negotiates and presents legal options to clients based on their business models and individual needs.

Lari counsels clients on civil and criminal inquiries initiated by the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and other government entities. Lari also represents clients in related complex litigation in both state and federal courts around the country. Based on her extensive experience with government regulators, Lari helps clients navigate applicable financial rules and regulations. Relying on her ability to understand how regulators approach an investigation, Lari also counsels clients on solutions once the government has initiated an investigation.

Lari has tried numerous bench trials and secured victory in a jury trial involving a robbery felony charge. She also serves as a member of the Illinois Judicial Conference's Court Funding Task Force. While in law school, Lari served as an extern for the Honorable Thomas L. Kilbride, Illinois Supreme Court Justice for the Third District. Prior to law school, as lead pension analyst for the Illinois House of Representatives, Office of the Speaker, she worked with state and local pension funds on investment and benefit administration regulation.
